The last Shuttle flight?

Debris and tile damage confirmed, filler strips that need removing and the Shuttle fleet grounded. Is this the end for the Shuttle?

Whilst NASA may be being ultra-cautious on this mission, it's amazing that a filler strip an inch high is so dangerous. NASA says that the aerodynamic effects of protruding filler strips (at the altitudes and velocities involved in re-entry) are unknown. Hence, the removal of the filler strips.

Once upon a time there was a difference between a domain name that existed and a domain name that did not exist. It was very simple to find out if a domain existed, you did a DNS lookup on the domain and the DNS server either told you the domain's IP address(es) or it told you that it couldn't find the domain, i.e. it did not exist.

This article describes how I set-up the Geo::IPfree module for AWStats. The purpose of this module is to locate website visitors' countries of origin by their IP address, rather than by the domain name of their ISP. Whilst this method is not perfect, it is better than assuming that a user of "someisp.com" is from the USA, which is what Webalizer does.
