Top level Episode Guide Buffy Buffy Season 6

Author:   Publishing date: 27.11.2002 22:30

Dawn and Tara wake up alone in the house. No-one else has returned home. Buffy wakes up next to Spike in the ruins of the building. As Buffy gets dressed she tells Spike, attempting to convince herself, that their relationship is over. They almost start again, until Spike says that the only thing better than killing a slayer is...at which point Buffy cuts him off. She threatens to kill him if he tells anyone what happened.

Tara is making breakfast for Dawn when Willow and Amy arrive. Amy tells them about the magic she and Willow used at the Bronze. Tara leaves, as Buffy arrives. She tells them that she had an all night "fight". Amy goes home. Buffy and Willow go to bed to get some sleep. Willow can't close the curtains with magic, she is worn out.

Buffy and Xander are researching, still trying to find a demon with a freeze ray. Anya is pretending to, but she has wedding magazines inside the books. Buffy defends Willow's use of magic, saying that everyone makes mistakes.

Amy and Willow are out again. Willow tells Amy that it took her most of the day to get her powers back. Amy suggests going to a Warlock that she knows. His office is invisible and moves, but Amy finds it and takes Willow there. The Warlock performs his magic, giving Willow and Amy visions.

When Willow returns home, she magics shape into some of Tara clothes and lies down with them as if they were Tara.

Dawn tells Willow that Buffy has gone patrolling. She tells Willow that she is OK on her own, but asks if she will be staying in for the night. Willow offers to take Dawn to see a film.

When Buffy gets home, she hears noises upstairs. She finds Amy stealing ingredients from Willow's room. Amy tells her that Willow is going to the Warlock with Dawn. On the way to the cinema Willow asks Dawn about her day out with Tara. Willow tells Dawn that she needs to make a quick stop on the way.

Willow leaves Dawn in the waiting room while she goes in to see the Warlock. Dawn has been waiting for over an hour and Willow is still with the Warlock.

Buffy wakes Spike up to help look for Dawn. Spike is unwilling to help until he hears where Willow has taken Dawn. Willow finally returns to Dawn after a couple of hours. Dawn is angry with her, having missed the film. But, then she sees Willow's eyes - all black - and asks if she is OK. Willow claims that she is and they leave.

Dawn wants to go home, but Willow wants to play. They don't see the demon following them. Buffy and Spike look for Dawn, arguing most of the time. Dawn wants to go home and Willow seems like she would allow her to go alone, when Dawn hears something. The demon from Willow's visions is in front of them and, at first, Willow doesn't think it is real.

The demon scratches Dawn, they run and it follows. Willow gets them into a car and uses magic to drive it - badly. Her power is going to her head. She is looking out of the rear window when the car drives into a concrete pillar.

Dawn recovers first and gets out of the car holding her arm. The demon attacks her, but Buffy and Spike are close enough to hear her screams.

Buffy fights the demon while Spike looks after Dawn. In the end, Willow destroys the demon. Buffy and Spike start to take Dawn to a doctor. Willow apologises, Buffy tells Willow to stay away from Dawn and Dawn slaps Willow. Willow is on the floor crying that she is sorry.

Spike and Dawn leave, Buffy stays and talks to Willow. Willow realises the mistakes she has made, that she can't stop and needs help. She asks Buffy to help her.

Back at the house Dawn is asleep, she has a broken bone (arm?). Buffy and Willow talk. Willow liked the magic because she thinks that it made her special, instead of the nobody she thinks that she was.

Willow promises Dawn that what happened won't happen again and that she will give up magic. She says "it's over". Buffy repeats the phrase, but she looks like she is talking about something else.

Willow does not sleep well. Buffy does not sleep at all - her room is full of garlic cloves and she is holding a cross.
