Willow and Tara wake up after a night of togetherness. Willow suspects that something is going on between Buffy and Spike. Tara tells her it is/was. Willow finds that Buffy has not returned home yet. She meets Dawn in the hall, who is very happy that she and Tara are back together again.

uffy breaks into Jonathan's gang's lair, only to find them gone and a lethal trap waiting for her. She escapes with a cut in her jacket, books, papers and a CD-R.

Buffy, Willow, Tara and Dawn go through the gang's papers to try and find out what they are doing. Anya is talking to a woman at a bar. She is meant to be a vengeance demon again, but she interrupts the woman's wishes by continually talking about Xander.

In a cave, Andrew acts as bait to allow Warren to kill a demon.

Dawn goes to see Spike, to talk about him and Buffy. She tells him about the camera in the magic shop. She asks him if he loves Buffy.

Jonathan cuts the skin off the demon and wears it go walk through a magic barrier. Jonathan is not part of Warren and Andrew's future plans. Jonathan returns with two orbs, which give anyone that holds them immense strength and invulnerability. Warren takes them and easily kills a demon.

Buffy goes to see Xander. She starts to talk about Anya, but he talks about her and Spike. Xander leaves the apartment. He sees Anya alone in the magic shop.

Willow is half in bed with Tara and half out of it decrypting the CD-R. Xander ends up at a bar. Jonathan, Warren and Andrew walk in.

Buffy returns from patrol and starts running a bath. Spike enters the bathroom to talk. He apologises for what happened and tells her that he just went to the magic shop for a spell to stop him loving her. Buffy says that she has feelings for him, but could never love him because she could never trust him. He attempts to rape her, but she just manages to fight him off.

At the bar, Warren starts a fight. He beats the first three men without any effort and throws Xander across the room. Xander returns to Buffy's house to tell her about Warren and he sees what Spike did to her.

Willow and Tara tell them that the CD-R was full of schematics and plans for bank vaults and armoured cars. Willow thinks she knows which one they will attack that night.

Spike returns to his crypt upset with his actions and confused as to why he feels bad for being evil - he is a vampire and is meant to be evil.

Warren picks up the armoured car and tips it on its side. Buffy arrives before they can take the money. She and Warren fight. Buffy is loosing badly, until Jonathan realises he is on the wrong side. He tells Buffy to "Smash his orbs." She does and Warren is powerless. But, he escapes on a jet-pack he is wearing.

Andrew attempts to do the same, but flies into the underside of a roof. He and Jonathan (who was neither told about nor given one of the jet-packs) are arrested.

Spike leaves Sunnydale on a motorcycle.

Tara is shot Willow and Tara are in their bedroom when Xander appears in the garden to talk to Buffy. He and Buffy make friends again. Warren arrives in the garden, angry and with a gun. He shoots wildly. Buffy is shot. As is Tara, who is still inside the house. Xander holds Buffy. Willow holds Tara. Willow's eyes turn to fire...
